A collaboration between queer club night Crotch and myself, I curated performances from local dancers, DJ's and poets on the theme of "hope for sex". The evening was held at Loco Klub July 2023, as a MANIC tour afterparty.
A short form spoken word piece that uses loop pedals and dance to explore themes of loneliness and compulsory heterosexuality. The piece was first commissioned by Tobacco Factory Theatres and then by Raze Collective. The piece has been performed live and virtually in spaces like The Yard, The Glory, and Hackney Showroom
Digital theatre piece that has been showcased at the Michael Pennie Gallery as part of the Coded Cube exhibition, as well as Bath Spa Universities Sparkfest. The piece takes the form of an interactive series of web pages, designed similar to a choose-your-own-adventure game. I coded the entire piece, facilitated rehearsals, and wrote a collection of the featured poems.
Performed in 2018 by Purple Crayon Productions at the Capital Fringe Festival, Mesa, AZ or Something Like It is an original show I wrote and directed. The play explores themes of family and loss, receiving a 5-star review from DC Metro Theatre Arts.
Inspired by early 2000's aesthetic, the video follows 3 tween girls all gossiping about how the loch ness monster had sex. Developed as part of Purple Crayon Productions Cryptid Girl Summer.
A current WIP, Good orgasm is a show about PTSD, love addiction, and sex post trauma. A spoken word based piece, the show is interested in asking how we can redefine and rebuild a healthy sex life? Development extracts have been performed at Ourgasm, Nozstock, and Exeter Phoenix.
